Phew… It has been a busy, full & blessed summer!!! We started with an early vacation before the public/parochial kids finished their school year enjoying gorgeous and secluded local beaches…
Then we hit up Sea World for a couple days (with very minimal crowds),
which allowed us to see every single show and experience every attraction and get our every last dollar’s worth 😉 and we finished off at Ito and Ita’s retreat house enjoying delicious food and great conversation with our favorite 86 year old’s. We celebrated the beautiful sacraments of Alizea’s First Reconciliation and Holy Communion, we continued with our home hunt, we visited with family from Spain which included a very special outing to Disneyland for the girls and their Spanish cousin, Carmita. We indulged in lots of rest and relaxation and swimming at the Emde Resort, a retirement celebration for Bapa which ended with a private dance party with Neil Diamond and more time with more cousins…
We wined and dined with friends from out of state, we had 3 birthday celebrations within 4 weeks time and the girls performed in their 1st play,”The Gruffalo”…
We discovered Soren will have a brother buddy with an exciting gender reveal and we gained 2 new swimmers (and divers)…
And amongst all the celebrating, and being on the go was the beautiful mundane of the in-between and the bonds that strengthen and the love that deepens there…
We continued to enjoy the care-free timelessness of having Daddy so much more available…
Those unplanned moments of joy…
The beauty of good naps and well rested Two year-olds…
And that look that always reminds me to slow down and soak up the incredible gift of the present moment…
It has been a season of growth, both literally (baby 6 has doubled in size and is now at the 10 week countdown) and figuratively…We have all been challenged and yet we are thriving in every way, thanks be to God’s grace! I am so thankful for this time of being outdoors, receiving life and being refreshed from the sunshine and the Son himself and storing up energy for the changes up ahead in the Fall!

Gorgeous family as always!
