You are a different baby than when we brought you home just 10 weeks ago. Sleeping through the night, making eye contact, cooing and giving sweet smiles with some one on one (or 4 on one) interaction…
and covered in dimples and rolls
To Daddy and me, you look the most like your big brother. Even your personality is more serious and subdued thus far like he was as a baby and there is a special connection between you 2 already. He adores you, runs through the house when he hears you crying (long before I ever do) to stick his big head of hair in your bassinet, giggling and oftentimes, putting you back to sleep as he unintentionally shakes, I mean rocks your cradle. He loves being near you, especially if I’m sitting on the couch nursing, one arm holding you and the other wrapped around him. He is never short on laughter and smiles and “hi baby”s for you. I am so excited to see your relationship unfold as I always thought it would be neat to have a big brother.
We have all adjusted well and you seem to be on a pretty predictable schedule. Nurse, burp, poop, sleep. Or some slight variation of that 😉
We’ll see if your baby blues and dark hair stand the test of time and what happens with that skin tone…
