Sunday Morning Praise

Praise the Lord. Praise God in his sanctuary; praise him in his mighty heavens. praise him for his acts of power;praise him for his surpassing greatness. Praise him with the sounding of the trumpet;praise him with the harp and lyre. Praise him with timbrel and dancing; praise him with the strings and pipe. Praise him with the clash of cymbals, praise him with resounding cymbals. Let everything that has breath, praise the Lord. Praise the Lord. Psalms 150:1-6

DSC_0695-2I love that Dean and my love for music that glorifies God (which was the instrument of our meeting) is being passed down to our kids…

I love that our 3 year old sings “Salvations is here!” at the top of her lungs and although she is not able to reason its meaning, I’m pretty darn sure her soul knows and is at rest giving praise to its Creator.

I love that Soren is memorized by Hillsong United rather than a furry, red puppet.. I have no problems with him watching live concerts of hundreds of thousands of people giving praise and worship to our God.

“But I will sing of your strength; I will sing of your steadfast love in the morning. For you have been to me a fortress and a refuge in the day of my distress.” Psalms 59:16

  1. I love hillsong United! Some of my fav family videos are of Brayden screaming worship songs at the top of his lungs! You need to borrow one of my jana alayra Dvds (or look her up wherever you get your other music videos from)…kids would loooooove her! Mine do.

  2. Ah, the power of MUSIC! God speaks to me through this medium the most loud and clear. Without a doubt, music is a God given gift to humans and is an awesome medium for us to come to know and appreciate HIM. I am so glad your family embraces it’s power!!
