There is no better friend that a sister

-Author Unknown

Don’t let this picture fool you. These 2 lovely ladies have been at each other’s throats lately (and I mean that, quite literally). I never knew such darlings could be so violent. Half the time I am shaking my head in disbelief and raising my voice in panic, flustered frustration. The other half of the time, I am cracking up while trying desperately to hide any indication of acceptance. Perhaps, God is allowing it purely to entertain me? Either way, this new reality in addition to Sweet G’s jealous bouts when I pick up Soren or lay him down for naps (which results in 2 crying babes) in combination with a baby who isn’t napping well has made for a challenging an interesting week. No wonder my energy tank is empty and my house looks like a pig’s pen!

TGIF because I’m ready for some distractions fun, family outings, some help with the discipline and schooling and a break from cooking, and at least the attempt at maintaining a schedule.

  1. Hang in there, baby!! You are in the midst of a very demanding and trying stage. Be assured that as the girls grow, the burden and demands will shift in a way that will allow you more “control” of YOUR life, even if you don’t think you have one!
